#3: Buying & deciding of the components
So this week I am researching multipull components and I deciding which one is best for my project. In this post I am going to discuss my findings with you and elaborate why I chose the ones I chose.
Raspberry Pi
First of the Raspberry Pi, like I already elaborated in my first post I chose for the Raspberry Pi because I wanted to explore this technologie for a long time. Now there are a lot of different types of Raspberry boards, I wont go into much details but here is a site that compares them all; http://socialcompare.com/en/comparison/raspberrypi-models-comparison . If you don't want to go to the site itself here is a screenshot of the comparison.

Now which one I chose, I chose the Raspberry Pi 4 B - 4GB RAM. Why the 4GB RAM because it is the safest option, what if I bought the 1GB and than mid process my Raspberry can't handle more, ... Here is a blog that explains which one is best for some cases; https://www.androidcentral.com/raspberry-pi-4-how-much-ram-do-you-need-1gb-2gb-or-4gb . Here they discuss that 4GB RAM is not needed in most cases, like mine, but if you have the budget it is the safest option. I bought mine here; https://www.gotron.be/raspberry-pi-4-b-4gb-ram.html.
I also bought some necessary accessories;
An HDMI to Micro HDMI cable to connect the Raspberry with a monitor; https://www.gotron.be/ultrathin-high-speed-hdmi-kabel-male-to-micro-hdmi.html
And an Micro SDHC memory card for the software of Raspberry: https://www.gotron.be/transcend-micro-sdhc-geheugenkaart-16gb-klasse-10.html

Arduino VS Servo Controller
After looking more into servo controllers I found out that there are so many to choose from. But suddenly I found the perfect one, instead of Arduino VS Servo Controller it is Arduino and Servo Controller. The one that I found combines these two technologies which is perfect for my project, because of the combination I can refresh my Arduino skills and learn about Servo Controllers. I am not gonna keep you waiting any longer, this is the one I am talking about: Adafruit 16-channel 12-bit PWM / servo shield I2C interface. Here is a blog that tells you more about why this one is just so perfect to use; https://www.adafruit.com/product/1411. And here is where I bought it; https://www.gotron.be/adafruit-16-channel-12-bit-p-b15wm-servo-shield-i2c-interface.html.

Is this all?
No these are not all my components, I will need a lot more. One of the more important components I still need are Servo motors. I have not found the perfect one jet and I am still researching a lot on these. After I found the perfect Servo's, I will start on the additional components such as a distance component, a microphone, ...
