#1: Quadruped Smart Robot

Was this my first concept? No, I had some difficulty deciding what I wanted to do and what I wanted to explore, my first concept was something with music and light effects. But that was too much electronics and too little programming so I went a bit smaller.

What do I want to make and explore?

I chose quadruped robot not only because it looks cool, but also because I want to work with Raspberry Pi. For a long time I wanted to explore this kind of technology but never had the time to do so. To control the robot I will make a web-application with basic controls, when I have a little bit time over I want to implement the abilities of the Amazon Echo, so that you can talk to your robot.

What technologies?

I chose the technologies Raspberry Pi, Arduino or Maestro servo controller, socket.io. Raspberry for controlling the robot, Arduino for the servo's and other components. The new challenges I will be facing are working and programming a Raspberry Pi, controlling the robot with a web-app, ...
